A journalist and freelance writer, Merle writes about travel, business, people profiles and other subjects for a number of national and regional publications, including Delta SKY, Twin Cities Business, Star Tribune, Twin Cities Statement, Minnesota Monthly and others. She published a true crime book, Famous Crimes: Stories of Law & Order in Minnesota (D Media/Minnesota Series 2008.) Minda also makes regular television appearances as a travel expert on NBC station KARE 11 TV. Previously, Merle Minda headed her own PR and marketing agency for many years and continues to maintain several clients. Needless to add, Merle is a passionate traveler and is always ready to go.
